For golfers 40+ who finish the round in pain

The reason your back hurts on the 12th hole is the same reason you've lost 20 yards.

Watch the 6-minute breakdown — why the pain isn't where you feel it, and the assess-first process that has golfers playing pain-free and hitting it further.

This is for you if

  • You're 40+ and your back, hips or shoulders ache during or after a round
  • You've lost distance over the last few years and you're compensating for it
  • You've tried stretching, physio or generic golf-fitness programs and nothing stuck
  • You'd train 3 times a week for 45 minutes if you knew it was the right 45 minutes

This isn't for you if

  • You want a quick fix or a 30-day challenge
  • You're in acute injury and need a doctor first
  • You're not in a position to invest in coaching right now

Everyone else is guessing

The programs. The apps. The routines on YouTube. They all start by guessing what your body needs.

Stretching your back

The back isn't the problem. Locked-up hips and a mid-back that won't rotate are — so your lower back does the rotating it was never built to do.

Resting it

The restriction is still there the moment you swing again. Two weeks off doesn't change what your body can and can't do.

A program off the shelf

Written for the average golfer. You are not the average golfer, and your limiters aren't average either.

You can train hard for six months and go nowhere, simply because nobody checked what you actually needed first.

The method

Assess, don't guess

Your pain and your lost distance are the same problem wearing two masks. Your body compensates around a restriction to get the club back to the ball — and those compensations are what hurt, and what cost you yards.

00

The assessment

A full TPI screen and movement assessment before a single exercise is written. We find your limiters — not a golfer's.

01

Foundations

Restore the hip, thoracic spine and shoulder movement you're missing, plus the stability to control it. This is usually where the pain goes.

02

Strength

Get strong through that new range, so it holds up under a real swing instead of collapsing at speed.

03

Speed

Now we build power. This is where the yards show up — from a body that can finally produce them without breaking down.

Training the right thing isn't a bit better than guessing. It's exponentially better.

You can't skip to step three. Everyone tries. That's why everyone stays sore.

Real clients, their words

What happens when you stop guessing

Peter · Stiff back, tight hips · 12 months

“I didn't want to be that 65-year-old who couldn't swing a golf club.”

Assessed, programmed, and told honestly it would take about six months. He noticed his ball striking change inside the first month — his irons went out 10 to 15 metres. A self-described skeptic of online coaching before he started.

I'd had all the great golf gear and all the good technology. I chose to invest in my body — probably the most important bit of equipment you've got.

Dan · Triple bypass, L4-L5 fusion, both knees replaced · 5 months

“I'd accepted my days of working out were in the past.”

Five months into the program: flexibility up, strength up, ball striking extremely consistent, and some drives out to 220–235.

I don't think I've felt this good in many years — five, six, seven years.

Justin · Professional musician, two young kids, a garage and dumbbells · 6 months

His 7-iron ball speed in February is what he hits his pitching wedge now.

Around 200 sessions in six months, barely missing one. His biggest TPI limitation was trail arm external rotation — the elbow flying off his body at the top wasn't a swing fault, it was a shoulder that physically couldn't get where his swing wanted to go. We built the range, then the strength to own it. Same clubs, same swing, a body that stopped fighting him.

Six months in · Driver distance · habit

“I was barely hitting 200 yards. Now I'm in the high 220s.”

The 10–12 minute morning mobility routine became automatic after years of stops and starts.

I feel weird not doing it now.

What this actually is

1:1 coaching. Six months. Built by hand.

Not an app, not a template, not a 30-day challenge. A program written for your body after we assess it, adjusted every week, with direct access to me. It's a real commitment — of time and of money — and it's priced like coaching, not software.

Most golfers will spend more on clubs this year than on the body swinging them. New clubs don't fix a restricted hip.

Not ready for that? Take the free self-assessment videos instead. Send them to me.

What the coaching actually feels like

“With a PT you get 45 minutes, then nothing for six weeks.”

Travelling and the hotel gym has the wrong equipment? Message me, I'll swap the exercise on the spot. Not sure your form is right? Send a video, I'll draw on it and send it back. That's the difference between coaching and a workout delivery service.

The bits you're still chewing on

What does it cost?
It depends on the program you need, which is what the call is for. It's proper 1:1 coaching over six months, priced accordingly — and the call itself is free, with a roadmap you keep either way.
I don't have the time.
Three sessions a week, 45 minutes, built around your schedule and the equipment you actually have. Justin is a professional musician with two young kids who trains in his garage with a set of dumbbells — around 200 sessions in six months.
I need to check with my partner.
Completely fair — it's a six-month commitment and it should be a household decision. Have the conversation before you book, or bring them on the call. I'd rather you arrive already aligned.
My body's too far gone.
Dan had a triple bypass, a fused spine and two replaced knees, and five months in he felt better than he had in seven years. Start where your body is, not where you wish it was.
I've tried programs before.
So had most of my clients. The difference isn't the exercises — it's that yours are chosen after someone actually watched you move.
I'm 55. Is it too late?
The over-50s make the biggest gains, because they have the most left on the table. Age isn't the limiter. Unaddressed restriction is.
